ROLE-DEBUT AS BRÜNNHILDE
Aile Asszonyi recently made her role-debut as Brünnhilde in Richard Wagners’ Die Walküre at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken. Audience and press were enormously enthusiastic. She also performed this role at the Opéra Royal de Versailles with great success. More shows in March, April, May and June 2024.

CONCERT AND PREMIERE IN ESTONIA
In March and April 2024 Aile Asszonyi will return to her native country for a concert with the Eesti  Riiklik Sümfooniaorkester (ERSO) and as Turandot in a new production of Puccini’s Turandot at the Teater Vanemuine Tartu.

RETURN TO THE OPER FRANKFURT
After her long-awaited house-debut at Oper Frankfurt as Elektra in a new production of Richard Strauss’ Elektra, Aile Asszonyi will return this season for the revival of this highly succesfull production. Shows in May and June 2024.

DEBUT BAYREUTHER FESTSPIELE

On the 31th of July 2023 Aile Asszonyi made her highly successful house-debut as Gutrune in Richard Wagner’s Götterdämmerung at the Bayreuther Festspiele. Conductor was Pietari Inkinen, stage director was Valentin Schwarz.

On the 19th of March 2023 Aile Asszonyi made her fulminant house-debut in the title-role of Richard Strauss’ Elektra at the Oper Frankfurt. Conductor of this new production is GMD Sebastian Weigle, the staging is by Claus Guth.

ROLE-DEBUT AS FATA MORGANA

On the 7th of March 2020 Aile Asszonyi made her role- and house-debut as Fata Morgana in Prokofiev’s L’amour des trois oranges at the Theater Koblenz. Conductor of this exciting new production is Rasmus Baumann, stage director and set designer is Michiel Dijkema.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC

In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic the Theater Koblenz has cancelled all performances in 2020 that were scheduled after the première.

ROLE-DEBUT AS ELEKTRA

On the 15th of October 2017 Aile Asszonyi made her role-debut as Prothoe in Othmar Schoeck’s Penthesilea. Conductor of this much acclaimed new production was chief conductor Dirk Kaftan, Peter Konwitschny was staging.
